not so sure about this, but i do know hash has a different way of dealing
with surfaces (Hash Patches), and in the conversion of these to polygons
during the DXF export you might get unexpected results. then i hear alot of
people having problems getting the dxf into swift, even from programs like
softimage. i wouldn't be suprised if you ran into complications with hash.
people here at work have been having good luck with the 3dsmax models in
swift, they are much happier with swift than with vecta, although the file
size, while better, is still a problem.
if you have to use hash, probably convert the model into polygons before
export, that will reduce the chance of problems.

Totally what I'm looking for! And it's pretty cheap. And it's for Mac! My
question is this... for those who've used 3D software in the past (and Swift
3) is this a compatible program? it has optimized DXF export. Any pointers?
