Very true.
There may be a lot of useless background loading going on....then again, if
the user stays for a while and is truly interested in seeing what the campus
has to offer, it would serve it's purpose.

Both views are very valid and should be considered in great depth by Anthony
before committing this to a done project.

I understand that but my point is why should I have something downloading in
the background if chances are I am not going to view it?

Ya don't.
Using a variation of the Five100 tute, it would allow the main movie to load
properly and it would continue pulling in the others in the background
without playing them (using a stop command in JavaScript). When it come time
to use them, their cached.
