I agree MC's are easier to manage and up to now thats prety much all
Ive used. But again, my point was you have to exprt every time you
want to see how the events play out on the stage or to see how a MC
(a menu list for instance) fits into the layout. I like working with
scenes because you can preview right in the file window.

I use a lot of strange fonts and find I have to break them apart or
suffer the consequences across platforms. Breaking apart fonts was a
habit I developed early on and that perhaps I should re-evaluate.

Im on a MAc so I dont have the nifty Right Click option. Although the
Cut and Paste functions are highlighted in the system Menu Bar they
dont seem to work. Any suggestions? Ild love to be able to this also
when creating multiple buttons that control a variety of MC's

Its a bit abstarct but Ill try tp explain again as I think this would
be a usefull function.

If you could select every frame in your timeline and proportionatly
sqaush them down..., say from 200 frames to 100 frames while
maintaining your movies integrity. Essentially this would just speed
evrything up while removing frames. Not just moving a block of 10
from one spot to another which , if you wanted to shorten your entire
movie you would have to move each one individually starting at the
beginning of your timeline so as not to copy over or delete wanted
keyframes.

I know what your talking about but I was thinking something more
along the lines of the Export Wizard in Fireworks. A tool that gives
feedback and could even show you dofferent versions of your exported
movie with some of the meatier parts removed. Of course Im thinking
of something that will leave your original file ALONE and would
require no editing on your part pother than designating Crucial and
non-Crucial elements in your movie.
