Subject: FLASH: SWFs behaving weird
From: Glenn Folkvord

Hello,

I am experiencing weird behaviour from a number of SWFs that are embedded in html. It seems that the artwork inside the files shrink, and leave a white space above the artwork. The SWF itself displays at the correct size, so how can the graphic content shrink? This happens when the SWFs are inserted into a FrontPage page (ehh, no flames please!) and uploaded to the site. I am using Aftershock to create the actual html and then copy/paste into FP98.

The URL for this specific problem is www.krepro.no/spesialtenger.htm The ones called PN-5040 and TS-30 have this problem. The graphic should be larger and the white space above is Flash space but should not bee there (note, no site critique needed). The two problem SWFs are used on one other page.

I am not sure if more info is needed to diagnose the problem, but any hints how to avoid this is highly appreciated.

Thanks for your time.
kind regards,
glenn
