Yes. At this time.
I appreciate the further explication, but I think my main point's
missed. (Not surprising, since I didn't really *describe* my point
before...)
At this time, extensive work must be done on the HTML side to make files
savable.
I do not believe that will be true forever. As I recall the original
default was to have the remote set to save in all cases; early beta
testers agitated to change that.
In other words, if a *lot* of noise had not been made early on, Flash
content may not have required HTML tags to be savable. A *lot* of files
would have broken.
And we still don't know for certain how things are going to shape up
with the ShockMachine.
All I ask is that MACR pull the remote out of SW702 and include it as a
*separate* downloadable element. When they do that, I will shut up and
get on with life. Until then I will continue pounding the horse.
Anyway, thanks, Nigel, for clarifying things a little. I can understand
why you may not feel overly perturbed about the remote at this time, but
I do ask that you consider what I'm saying, and consider the possibility
that you -- and other Flash users -- will have good reason to be
concerned about it soon enough.
