I'm not sure how hard it would be to add this to flash, but other
keyframe based animation programs solve 3 by using child/parent object
relationships: if you want to apply a setting/action to a range of
objects, you make them children of the parent, apply setting to parent,
and children inherit the setting. In many apps. you cn also prevent
certain children from inheriting by turning off inheritance for them.
Note that this function would also apply in come cases to complaints
1-2. It also allows for many animation effects as children follow an
animated parent.
