Hi Karin,
Your server uses Apache software. So you most likely can set the MIME
for your directory.
Look and see if there is already a file named .htacess in your
directory, gery unlikely. If there is add the MIME to it on a new line
in that file.

Just use a txt editor and add the line of code
AddType application/x-shockwave-flash swf
and name the file .htaccess.
Unless your ISP has disabled .htaccess this will work.
Note, if it doesn't work it won't hurt anything.
