Except for shape tweens the first and last symbols must be created from
the same instance before modifying for the tween.

If an object is a symbol you can apply Alpha, can't think of any reasons
why not, The Alpha may not take effect in the tweeen if the other tween
element is not originally a clone of the other element.

If you still can't get it,
Upload your FLA to an FTP site.

If you don't have FTP available you can use
FC's anonymous FTP site --> 206.107.180.51/
