The problem you're encountering is due to the fact that if sound is not set
to stream, the rate of animation will be limited by the speed of the
viewer's machine, whereas the sound will always play in real time. Set the
sound sync type to "stream," which will force the animation to keep up with
the sound (even at the cost of dropping graphic frames if necessary). This
is set in the sound dialog box (double click the frame where the sound starts).
