FLASH: Tabbed Text box/field

Title: Tabbed Text box/field

This hopefully is an easy thing to do, but I'm suffering from a brain freeze
right now.  I have a text box that I want to add tabs to.  A mouseover (rollover) over
the tab will bring up the text appropriate as well as changing the tab
color, etc.  The problem is that I want the default text and tab to be a
welcome message - visible unless someone chooses another tab. But I can't
figure how to swap out the default text for other text messages.  Thanks for
helping a brain freeze out!

And, while I'm thinking about it, is it possible to have Flash read from
cookies so that the welcome message includes the member's name?
