audio comes from the lecturer/presenter/orator; I hang out in the wings and
press buttons. The whole thing is scripted, so I know where in the speech
to
make my changes.

I figured that, which is similar to my situation. I just thought a
"swoosh" here and there or other audio blips might liven it up, or it may
distract. Just something I'll have to look in to.

Haven't
yet had to mix audio into a live business presentation, but I don't think
Flash's audio capabilities would really cut it. I'd probably use tape and
synchronize it to the Flash piece (2 separate output media) but maybe
somebody
has a better idea.

Sounds cumbersome and just another chance at something going wrong. Why
don't you think flash audio would cut it? Quality? Or other problems?
Just curious as everything is running locally, not via the web.
