Ok, I tested this approach and it worked perfectly. here is the
procedure:
1. have only layers with type (and only type) on them visible.
2. set onion skinning to "onion all"
3. select edit multiple frame onion button ( the one on the right end of
onion menu)
4. drag select all your type using the arrow tool.
5. select the type tool and change, font, bold or italic, size, and/or
color.
6. all type will change in all frames to the new settings.
