How are you pulling info out of Access into Flash?

I am kind of new to flash and I have a couple of questions, here goes:

 

Can I pull information out of a Microsot Access Database and display in using Flash, and can I use flash in conjusnction with my ASP files (such as a shopping cart/cookie), and I want to make some excellent looking 3D logos and I have 3D Studio MAX, is this the best way to do that type fo thing?
