FLASH: Load Movie, etc...Help!

Hi folks...I'm undergoing a bit of a new Flash struggle. I'm creating a new

site that will be fairly intensive and I would like to develop it with

multiple movies. I see many flash sites that have multiple swfs playing on

the same screen, like a menu, main screen, etc...when a menu option is

selected, the new section comes up as a loading bar in the main screen.

This way, the entire site doesn't have to be loaded in the original .swf or

doesn't have to be streamed. I want to load the initial framework...then

let the user go from there. So I'm unsure how to bring up multiple swfs at

the same time...i've seen discussion of it before, and have printed it out,

but can't find it after looking all weekend. Would someone be so kind as to

send me a url to a good tutorial site or explain the rough basics? or even

better, a quick and dirty .fla so I can get some visual examples going?
