Howdy,
I'm new to the group and I've been a closet Flasher for a just couple of months.... I have some questions for anyone who might be able to answer some questions or to even see if these things are possible.
I working on a F4 piece that will reside on a website kind of like an ad banner. I would like it to contain 2 MP3 files (2-3 min. songs) and small animations. I have allocated 200mgs to Flash and I have been unable to export the files out containing the complete songs - only 2-45 sec. samples. Would it be smarter to start a movie clip with in the flash piece that contained each song or do I need more RAM? What if I wanted to add more songs?
While I'm asking, is there any reccommended ratio on RAM for fla documents? RAM/FLA ratio? Say if I work on a 14 meg fla file and boil it out to a swf file, it comes in at around 3megs (no MP3 sound though). This works best with 300+ megs allocated, any less allocation makes things tough. I have so many ideas I want to do but I've noticed a RAM issue. Any takers?
.... with more questions to come,
Dino
