Hi, I have a question pertaining to "load movies". Since I am not a programmer by any means, I'm sure I work ass backwards with F4, so please excuse my ignorance.
I'm interested in building a portfolio project for CD using F4. I was thinking of exporting the file to QT, where all the controls will be set. There are plenty of QT movies in the content, so I am wondering, if you boil out a fla file to QT, one that has extermal movie clips, does QT recognize these commands? Does that make sense or am I going about it wrong?

Someone was asking this morning about using load movie for intensive
sites.
I have been perfecting my portfolio site in Flash4 using a load movie
action where the .swf replaces a movie clip. I haven't seen anyone
discussing using this but once I figured out a few tricks, I kind of
like the idea. It wasn't real straightforward since I had to include
the name of the movieclip instance in some of the pathways of the
swf's for them to work correctly -- mostly in action scripting and
some tell targets.
Once each small swf has loaded it reloads almost immediately (from
being in cache?).
Take a look if you like. The bitmaps were created in Reptile, a free
download from Sausage software.

(one of them, "Ballistic" is missing it's preloader at the moment)
