Apple Quicktime $29.00 does a great job.
Before flash 4 was released, I asked a reliable source the method
i should use to import video into my flash projects. (avi vs. qt, framerate,
compression)
his answer was something like this. . .
Flash4 will not be able to import video files.
The only thing i can think of doing would be to use a gif builder type of
application and import individual frames. (not very web friendly)
