FLASH: Re: Get URL, Loop, If-Then statements

Can someone help me solve the following problems with Flash 4?

1)  When I assign "Get URL" action to a button, it doesn't work despite the

fact that I am connected to Internet with a fast machine.  Even if I have

nothing in the movie but a single button assigned "Get URL" action (with

button enabled) it still doesn;t work.  Does anybody else have the same

problem?

2)  I had similar problems with LOOP and IF-THEN action commands.  I tried

to write simple do loops, just like described on page 193 of Flash 4

manual.  No matter how many times I try, it just doesn;t work.  It either

does not work at all or goes into infinite loop.  The index counter feature

never kicks in.  Similarly, even the most simple IF-THEN statement, when

assigned as a frame action, does not work the way it is described in the

manual.  What's wrong? Any ideas?  Thanks.  Ugur.
