Hi Unique,
I come from an illustration and design background and used Illustrator
and Freehand extensively for a long time. When I first started using
Flash, I used FH for a lot of my artwork. After a while, I found I was
using Flash 85% of the time. The transition from the traditional bezier
way to draw and Flash's way was a bit bumpy, but now I find I really
prefer Flash. After all, it's not as if bezier drawing is the natural
way to draw. It is a learned skill (and not an easy one to learn as
witnessed by all the step by step tutorials on how to do it).
Once I stared thinking in Flash, Flash became easier for most things.
The only times I use FH or Illustrator now is when I need to create
something Flash does not do easily. For example: type on a path,
envelope distortions of type, some frame by frame animations (blends on
a path released to layers and exported as a swf), that kind of thing.
Hope this helps.
