Hiya Catherine, others,

Even though Flash's interface is not exactly relative to the ergonomics of Illustrator, I still see it's interface as a standard vector package and I really am lost on where you're coming from. From an animators standpoint, it mimics the ole multu-plane cameras of the era and because of this, from a traditional animator's perspective, seems to be very intuitive.

This must be a Mac thing, or should I say, in all honesty, a "PARC" thing.

I won't even comment on MM's direct developer support. Hopefully the
green fog on Rob Burgess' sunglasses will clear up so he can see the
future relationship between his company and the individuals who support it.

I disagree here. Flash is strong and very rarely do we have to find workarounds. Its very stable on PC (Cant speak for MAC(Mine has only one meg)) and has few bugs compared to other companies' more veteran software. It's also very reliable on export. More so than most Animation proggys that we work with. Its very affordable and my kudos to the engineers. Although I do admit MM's products themselves are the only effective marketing campaign they've got going.

Hey, just my .02. What do I know,
