Subject: FLASH: More Specific

Hello All,

Sorry for all the posts. Right after sending the last one, I
realized I should have just told you all what I am trying to do.

Ok, I have a hex shape that was created in illustrator. When the
mouse is put over this hex, it will stretch out the top and bottom sides
horizontally, but leave the left and right upper and lower sides the
same. So I end up with a larger box that text will appear in. For the
effect to work, I need to be able to fill the hex with a different color
than the background.

So here is how I was going to do it. Create the needed images in
Illustrator, bring the hex into flash and create the beginning frame
(standard hex) and the final frame (horizontally elongated hex) and
tween/morph from the beginning frame to the last. However, once I get the
hex into flash, it will only let me scale the hex, I cannot just select
the left or right 3 vertices, and drag them to elongate the hex. With
shapes created in flash, I can do this - however, it is not letting me do
it with images that have come from illustrator. Can I do it if I change
to freehand?

Thanks for all your patience,
Robert
