Hi

Variables can infact be passed from a movie clip to the main timeline - you just need to give their path. If you are trying to change a variable with a button - you need to put this action on the button as a whole i.e right click on the button - I have had no success changing variables by putting actions on the button states - I don't think that works.

Anyway I hope this has been of some help

Cheers

Paul
