Subject: Re: FLASH: Tell Target vs Assigning actions

Didn't see anyone answer it so I thought I'd try to help. There are a couple
of ways I've done it. Tell Target and also Load Movie.

>1) How do I get anb MC to stop playing with the actions?

Easiest way is to Tell Target all of the movie clips and tell them to go to
a frame (blank-real easy- Fade out of present scene or a transition-more
preferrable) Have them transition from any movie they might be playing and
then come in with the new one. In your case closing doors on the currently
playing scene would seem to make the most sense. Yes, it can go to any of
the floors.

>3) should I use tell Target in this case and if so, can I use different

As JC would say S C E N E S badddddddddddddddddd! We no like scenes. Scenes
cause cancer. Scenes will make you impotent. Scenes will cause Suzy to laugh
at you.

Could use load movie as another option. Drawback there is that it eliminates
a preloader.

Hope I've helped in some small way. Feel free to redirect if I didn't.

Ask and listen hear and over time you will become wise.
