fwiw, I'm not able to read all the messages on this list. (I suspect many
others are forced into the same situation.) My apologies if I missed a
previous question.
Are you describing a situation where a Mac server will never reply to a
post request? or is it a particular Mac browser issue? Is it that the
message is never received by the server? or is it that the message is
received well, but the reply confirmation does not proceed as expected? And
I assume you're testing this with full http: addresses, because some Mac
browsers do have difficulty with some content and file: addresses. (Hmm,
and with your emphasis on Mac, should I assume that you implemented the
same movie normally on Windows, or is "Mac" merely an incidental rather
than necessary detail here?)
Is any of the above close to what you're seeing there? Is there something
others should do to be able to see the problem too?

jd

hmmm, from this I might almost guess that you might be in an actionscript
loop, which will definitely tend to hold you back from doing anything else
on the computer. Just on pure techy intuition, you're not staying tight
within a single script until the return arrives, right? you're actually
using some type of asynchronous scripting instead, aren't you...?
