I know some of the concerns expressed are important. And so does

Macromedia. So much so that we will be seeing a new player very soon as

a result of a phase 1 correction.

It is my understanding that each and every one of the relevant concerns

was placed on a priority by Macromedia and that the most serious ones

will be addressed in this phase while other not so 'impactfull' concerns

will be addressed during phase 2.

So this should have been a closed case right ?

Wrong ! Far form it. Macromedia bashing is trendy so let's keep it up.

The discussion has reached a level that  prompts this kind of reply from

you about new concerns :

"You will NOT be able to turn off the remote if someone has linked to

your site -- and already has the remote on. That will not change and

only assholes want it to change. (I said this was brief.)"


My post, that you quoted, was quite bland, and I held back some more

acrid remarks just because of the original posters. Just try to keep

thhis up and I will have more to say.
