At 11:10 AM 8/25/99, mgseeley wrote of choosing one of the default HTML
templates, and asked about the alert that requests "additional formats".
If you're choosing the "Flash 3 + Image" template, then this HTML chooses
between giving them the OBJECT/EMBED or a JPEG/GIF. If you choose this HTML
template, then you'll need to specify an image too.
If you'd rather just provide the Flash regardless, but created a piece that
can play back in either the Flash 3 or Flash 4 Players, then you might want
to add another HTML template. It's only a few minutes' work... Brad and I
both included the 1-2-3 of it in yesterday's messages here.
(Rephrased, it sounds like you're using a template for SWF or GIF, and so
you can either render out a GIF/JPEG too, or else use a template that does
not do this type of realtime media substitution.)
fwiw, I'd likely just use the included default template myself, with an "if
you can't hear the music" type of link, but your mileage may vary.
