Certainly go to the Generator section of Macromedia's site, click around in

the case study areas, download the white papers and read, read, read. As

far as a tutorial and such, here's some resources:

There's not many resources that hit all the features or capabilities such

as the advanced charting, offline generator, etc.. If you were in NYC I'd

invite you to a presentation I'm giving on Generator 2 in September.

Convincing a boss to just purchase something for the sake of having (no

matter how good it is or how much production time it will save) is often a

challenge, if you have a project that would benefit from the features it

might be easier, and the client will be paying for it.
