You may wish to find the core problem there first... if you can't run a
program then it may be changed and difficult to uninstall too.
If you're using Shockwave 7.00 then there are uninstallation instructions
in the technotes... just search with keyword "shockwave and uninstall".
If you're instead using the current Shockwave 7.02 instructions then check
in with the people in the "Web Players" newsgroup on the Macromedia news
server, or through the shockwave.com help system if you've registered your
free membership there. They'll need to learn a few things about your system
first, thanks.
Overall, though, you should expect things to just run normally for you,
too... there are tens of thousands of successful installations each day, so
you should expect to be part of the overwhelming majority here.
