FLASH: jump to Scene 2

Hi folks.


can anyone help me with 2 small problems? I will post them in separate emails.


First, I am having trouble making a transition to a new scene. A frame on

my main timeline has a tell target that plays a MC. At the end of the

movie, I want to jump to a new scene. I have tried doing a tell target on

the last frame of the movie and putting ".." in the target field. I then

put a "go to and play" in with the label "toSc2" in the label field.


In the main timeline I have a frame labeled "toSc2" with a stop action and

a "go to and play" that has Scene 2 selected in the drop down menu and a

specified label in the label field. This doesn't get me out of the main

timeline. It just goes to the main timeline and plays past the frame with

the stop in it.


Is there a way to jump directly from the last frame in the nested MC to a

label or frame in Scene 2? I suppose I could just put the Scene 2 frames

into Scene one but that would be confusing to navigate while authoring.
