Are you setting that variable back to "" or anything? It sounds
to me that it would have been 50.50% which gets trimmed to
50.5%. Seems like the vaiable might be concatenating (is that
the correct spelling?). Would a 3rd time produce 50.505%?

Subject: FLASH: Flash 4 Scaling
Hello,
I have this instance set up so that when I select it, it returns it's
properties for scale and rotation. The text field that records this
information is set up to be editable. So when I type in 50% the instance
will resize to 50% of it's original size. When I select the instance again
it returns the scale as 50.5%. Does anyone know why this is happening and
how to get the instance to return the exact numeral value I entered. Thanks,
Ed
