Subject: FLASH: Win 2000 Installation Problem
From: Eric Stewart

Hello Flashers,
I recently purchased a Dell Laptop, 700MHZ PIII, 128MB SDRAM, 16MB Video
with a full 15' High Resolution Active Matrix Screen, and I am running
Windows 2000 on it. This is my first experience with MS NT of any kind.
Anyway, I have installed my studio of Macromedia Products (Flash 4,
Dreamweaver 3, UltraDev, Fireworks 3, Freehand 9, and Drumbeat 2000) but I
am having a problem with one of the fonts. When I open Flash, for example, I
can hardly read any of the titles that are on the floating palettes such as
Object, Transform, Scene, Frame. Other things that are hard to read include
the numbers in the timeline and the information in the status bar of the
time line like the Frames per seconds. Has anyone else running Windows 2000
had this problem, what can I do to fix it. I am leaving for vacation in a
few weeks and this laptop is the only way I will be able to go, by taking my
work with me. Any help would be great. Just keep in mind that I have spend
most of my computer usage in the last couple years on a 95/98 machine, not
NT, so things specific to NT will need to be explained to me. Thank you all
in advance.
Eric Stewart
