Subject: FLASH: netscape right and bottom margin | whitespace issue

hi.

am i imagining this -- or does flash scale up and down in a browser window [when it's scale attributes are set to w:100% h:100%] only when it darn well feels like it?

have others found that the swf sometimes snaps back to its original dimensions when the browser window is scaled up|down|in|out etc?

i'd rather make a fixed-size swf, but i'm trying to achieve the some semblance of scalability for a client who wants it. and wants it in Netscape.

i seem to be able to get a *reasonably* scalable swf in IE (i find it still "snaps" small -- which might have to do with the jpeg i've been asked to use as a bg-type of banner), but in Netscape, i'm met with a constant border of white on the right and left of the swf. is there a specific problem in Netscape in terms of these borders that i haven't yet heard about?

i'm -- naturally -- setting the marginwidth marginheight leftmargin topmargin rightmargin bottommargin attributes in the body tag to "0", using both the object and embed tags and i've also tried all "noborder" "showall" and "exactfit" parameters with no change in the border issue in Netscape.

thoughts? advice?

thanks in advance,
victoria torres
