Hi Carlos,


I've seen this bug before (I author on Mac and have had probs with audio

playback on PCs, so the bug seems to work both ways).


Try importing your audio at 22 kHz instead of 44.1 kHz  I haven't seen this

problem for awhile, but I remember Flash used to have problems with audio

brought in at 44.1.  Anyway, it's worth a check.


A less likely reason: have you checked that your Mac has an updated plug-in?

MP3 is the new default audio compression in the Flash 4 authoring

application. If a user hits Flash 4 content with the Flash 3 Player, they

will not experience features of the Flash movie that are specific to Flash

4, such as the MP3 audio compression.  I'm assuming this isn't the case, but

it's good to cover all bases.


Beyond that, brother, you're on your own.  If someone else has a definitive

answer, let us ALL know!
