FLASH: Graphic elements

I'm working on a project where the designer used PS to make some very cool

graphical elements.  What would the best format to have him save them in for

import into Flash?  I don't have Photo Shop, nor can I reproduce these

graphics in Flash (I can't draw a stick figure!  heh heh)
