I've always ignored PHP, simply because it isn't supported

like ASP or JSP with MS and Sun/IBM competing to get

the standard...


Are you saying PHP is faster than ASP and JSP?  Is it

scalable too?  We like ASP and JSP for the component-based

architecture (com & dcom/com+ VS. servlets and EJB) that

lends well to a more distributed approach (ie, if your server

can't handle the load then just add another machine)...


I'd be interested to know how PHP measures up in this regard,

because, as I said before, I haven't really given it a thought until

now...
