FLASH: mac 4.0a probs

Hi all,


I've posted this problem some time ago and had no luck, so I'll try once 

more.

Flash 4.0a, mac os 9.0.4, tried allocating up to 60000k, I've tried trashing 

preferences- but I still have a fla (with 50 layers, 50 symbols)in which I 

cannot turn off the outlines!-With other smaller files this is not a 

problem.

The other issue, is that when moving symbols into a newly created library 

file, the application freezes on me.


I'm concerned about upgrading to flash 5 while these problems still exist. 

Should I be?


Any help GREATLY appreciated.
