FLASH: Re: Load Movie

Hi all,


Load movie is a very powerful feature in Flash but when used (especially

on the Web) you should insure that the various movies have loaded up to

the point where you call (using Tell Target) points from one movie to

another. A back and forth communication in combination with 'If frame is

Loaded' is highly recommende for any movie that will require

communication with another. This can get very complicated.


When should you use Load Movie?


1) Any time where you can't use Movie Clips, such as with Scenes.

2) When you have various large segments that will be called in an

unspecified order. If segments are to be viewed in a standard order one

after the other then you should probably include alll the segments in

the same movie.


Load Movie allows random-access loading of content without the need to

load content that is not needed or not needed yet.
