David,

I rendered 36 frames. I probably could have gotten away with fewer but I
wanted it to rotate slowly without to much jumping. I'm about a third of
the way through hand-tracing the animation and so far it has cut the file
size by more than half. So it's worth the effort, but it's SO tedious.
