Make the hit area a solid rectangle or circle (or whatever) the size of your
graphic (or a bit bigger), and remove the graphic from the hit state frame.

Subject: FLASH: button help!!

This has probably been asked before but..........

I have created a button and made the hit area the size of the button. But
when I export the movie the hit area becomes only the hit area that extends
from the graphic itself!!

Hopes that makes sense.

Can anyone help?
