FLASH: Bug in Flash 4??

I am trying to create a layer that changes at a specific point.I want it to

switch at the specific frame from graphic1 to graphic2.  I wouldn't think

this would be that hard, but Flash keeps changing graphic 2 to graphic1 when

I try to paste it on the blank screen.  Then if I go to the properties

window, I can choose graphic2 and click change then OK and IT'S BACK TO

GRAPHIC1!!!


Someone please tell me how stupid I am for not knowing how to stop this from

happening. :)
