FLASH: mac os 9

Flash 4 has begun crashing on my Power Macintosh... since I installed os 9.  The errors we've gotten (this is on two machines) are :

 "Sorry.  A system error has occurred  "Flash 4"

bus error

address error.

Or the machine just freezes.  Any suggestions?
