The onlysolution for POST and IE 4.5 is to send a GET to a server side

page such as ASP and have that serverside page translate and send a POST

to the application that requires a POST.


GETs are limited but not by Flash, so the lenght of commands sent via

GET if very long may need to be parsed into sections that don't exceed

browser limits or your server and application's capability.
