It looks like the word "NEWS" with the bitmap image behind might be the

problem!?


Just try without it and see the difference.

Hi all,


I'm new to flash and had a ? regarding flash animations and speed.


I created this:

And if you run it you'll see that it runs really slow.  I didn't realize

that moving mainly vector objects (and not morphing) would require so much

CPU.  Any hints on getting this to run right?


Any suggestions on what to set my fps to?
