Thanks. I've got to learn to walk before I run. I'm taking this one step
at a time and Director looks like too daunting a task for me

Well, it depends, on what you are going to do. Just the main points:
Director provides a much more powerfull scripting language as flash does. So
- if you have to do a lot of scripting, Lingo wil be the better choice for
you. Even if you have to deal with Bitmaps - Director is optimized for that,
using bitmaps in Flash isn�t really handy.
