Hi There !

I'm offered the possibility to pick the optimal configuration for a
workstation dedicated to producing multimedia (internet, CD's, etc.).

While I am confident enough about the softwares (FLASH of course, Director,
3D studioMax etc.), I am quite uncomfortable with the hardware
configuration. It gets soooo confusing to pick the right elements (I've used
macintoshes for years and the new computer will be a PC).

Your suggestions are then most welcome - here's a short list of the elements
I'd need :

CPU :
RAM :
OS :
Monitor :
Video Card :
Video RAM :
Sound Card :
Video Capture Hardware :
Loudspeakers :
Network :
Data input (graphic tablet) :
Scanner (including transp.) :
Storage devices :
CD burner :
......
What did I forget ? ;o)))

Thanks !!!

Nice day to you

Cheers

P-H

P.S. Is there an internet shop where I could "assemble" the workstation ? I
have had a peek at Dell's, but some elements were not among the
seletionnable options, such as the video capture stuff... and I heard that
it's verrrrrry difficult to later add hardware elements due to
incompatibilities... So would there be an equivalent, more
"graphic&multimedia" oriented ?
