Not true you certaily can export movie clips and other Flash 3 features
to Quicktime. What you can't do is export movie clips to a "Quicktime
Movie" (Mac option only) and other non-interactive movie and image
sequence formats.

There are 2 options in a Mac export movie "Quick Time" which is
interactive and "Quicktime movie" which is not interactive. If you use
the Publish feature you will always export as QT4 interactive.
