FLASH: Old Posts appearing on list

I am seeing re-posts of old messages on the list lately. They seem to be 

from earlier December. I have let Sam, the list manager, know about this.


The main thing for list members to know is that these posts are not being 

regenerated by the original senders, and that Sam has been notified. Just 

pay attention to message dates, be aware that messages from a week or more 

in the past are probably duplicates, and please let's not start a huge 

thread on the list. If the problem continues very long  or gets out of 

hand, send the relevant information (duplicate messages with full headers) 

to Sam, whose address is at the bottom of this message, not to the list.
