The only thing that I can think of is if you have the actionsEnabled property in Director set to TRUE. I use Flash ActionScript inside Director, but I often let Director handle the net stuff and pass the information back to Flash because I can do just a bit more with Lingo than with Actionscript (but I believe that this is changing because I could swear that I saw the Shockwave 8 Player with Flash 5 - unless this is a cruel joke by MM).
