Subject: Re: FLASH: Quick Time in SWF!

Ana,

I'm no expert at this but just last night I was fiddling around with Quicktime Pro and Flash and discovered that it is possible to export a native QT movie (.MOV) as a series of images (JPEG or BMP) which Flash can then import as a series of frames (1 image per). First I trimmed the .MOV to the sequence I wanted and then exported using the 29.98 FPS JPEG option. Then in Flash, I imported the first image in the sequence upon which Flash asked if I wanted to import the entire sequence of images. Clicking yes then brought in the rest of the images as individual frames. I set the frame rate to 30 fps and it worked beautifully!

I hope this helps you. You'll also find that the Flash Bible has extensive information on Quicktime in and with Flash.

I'm trying and trying to insert a quick time in a SwF. I already read that
the possibility to see QuickTime's in the swf it's 'broke' all frames of it
and insert as separate images. This is true or there is another way?

Thanks

Ana
