FLASH: Question on technique

i need to do a flash movie which simulated pen or pencil scripting, so that

it looks like text is being "written" on the screen....


ive seen a tutorial on this a while back, cant find it...


can anyone lend a hand?  i know it has something to do with drawing the

path of the scripting, then using a mask of some sort to reveal it...
